Seeing Things, Part 15; kindle ahoy!

Dear Blog Friends;

Well, I just put SEEING THINGS up on kindle, in addition to the third short story collection “Mean Little Kitty” and “Waiting Room at the Hero League” Kitty and Waiting room are still free on Smashwords, as is SEEING THINGS. I am going to start charging for SEEING THINGS shortly, but I may still have coupons here.

It should take a few days for these two publications to show up on kindle, but you know what would really help? If people would go and write reviews. Make it an honest review. Say what you liked (or didn’t like) about it, and it will help other people decide whether to read it or not. In fact, if you’d like to review the other ones, that would be great too.

I removed the table of contents for the kindle version, because my friend (Hi Amy!) said that kindle lets you skip ahead by chapter. I thought that’s what Smashwords did, but I guess in this case, Kindle is easier. If it doesn’t work, please let me know and I will see if I can make it work.

Guess my next step is to get TREEMAKER up. I was going to space them out more, sort of build anticipation, but it’s just as easy to lose momentum as it is to build anticipation. I committed to doing this thing (epublishing my novels) and once I decide to do something, I want to do it right away.

Anyway, please tell your friends about SEEING THINGS because it isn’t going to be free for long. And if you find it on kindle (should be ready by Wednesday) please write a review. I’d really appreciate it.

    Hm. The kindle version I downloaded from smashwords did chapter breaks, but now the one I downloaded from Amazon doesn’t have them. It still looks clean, though.

    When you said that kindle let you skip ahead by chapter, I decided that I would get rid of the table of contents I’d manually made on the kindle version. I like to simplify the formatting whenever possible.

    I will make sure to include a table of contents in both the Smashwords version and the kindle version of Treemaker.
