Here’s another bird drawing that I did while on the phone. I sketched it with the pen I usually write with, my favorite uniball vision elite, and when I got home I finished inking it in with a brush and some liquid blue ink.
I’d hoped that the background patter would have made more of an impression on the overall bird design, but the ink isn’t translucent enough and the design not bold enough. That’s part of why I didn’t cut this one out.
